Congressman Lamar Smith has earned the backing of the Texas Leadership Coalition, a San Antonio-based non-profit fostering civic responsibilities.

The TLC reviewed candidates from all political parties representing Bexar county residents running for federal, state, and county offices in the 2012 primary elections. The vetting process included analyzing voting records, public speeches, questions and answers in candidate forums, and endorsements and ratings from other organizations.
