Lamar Smith Receives Conservative Endorsements

Congressman Lamar Smith’s list of conservative endorsements in his bid for re-election continues to grow.
“I am honored to have the endorsement of these organizations,” Smith said. “I continue to work hard, vote right and stay in touch with the constituents of Congressional District 21 and am grateful to have their support in the primary election next Tuesday.”
Congressman Smith’s endorsements include the Texas Alliance for Life, Texas Association of Business’s Business and Commerce PAC, Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association PAC, National Rifle Association of America, Central Texas Republican Assembly, North Shore Republicans and the San Antonio Express News.
Smith serves as the ranking member on the House Judiciary Committee, as well as a senior member of the Homeland Security and Science Committees. He was first elected to represent the 21st Congressional District in 1986.
The 21st Congressional District includes all or part of Bandera, Bexar, Blanco, Comal, Kendall, Kerr, Real and Travis Counties.
